The unit is located in the northern region of INDIA in the well known city of Ludhiana. Company's head office is located near Focal Point in new Moti Nagar on the chandigarh road. Another unit of the company is located on the chandigarh road almost 10 Kms. away from the head office. Company has one more unit in Bhopal in Industrial Area. The unit was established in 1976 by Sh. B.D. Sharma as a job worker for ancillary of B.H.E.L. His enterprising and innovative leadership added a new chapter in the history of DAWN by adding PTL, Mohali in it's Customers list in 1980. After that started Gear Shifting Forks supplies for Eicher Tractor, Parvanoo, Eicher Tractor, Faridabad & Eicher Motor Limited, Indore in 1984, 1986 and 1990 respectively. Presently engaged in the manufacturing of a wide range of Tractor Parts, Auto Parts and Motor Parts DAWN is also supplying products to Companies like Royal Enfield, Swaraj Mazda, Mahindra and Tata Motors etc. Now DAWN has complete in house solution for the forging products with Hot Drop Forged hammering capacity from 0.5 ton to 1.5 tons (0.5, 1.0, 1.25 and 1.50 tons), independent die development facilities like VMC and Wire Cut with competent staff, latest hardware and software technology for CAD/CAM purpose and in house heat treatment and shot blasting shop.
